MRP issue on creating duplicate PR so the stock has increased.

Hi,

For example,On 26.02.19 MRP has Run.It has generated PR for 3 materials since we had stock of 8 materials and maximum stock that should be is 11(11-8).

On 27.02.19 MRP has run .it did not create PR because there in so shortage in Maximum stock quantity.

On 28.02.19 after MRP it has created the same 3 quantity of materials .why did the duplicity had happened?

Note :there is no open sales order also between those dates also.

we run MRP through batch.Planning mode is 1.

Please help me fix.

Hello Everyone,

We were facing the issue that the MRP was resulting duplication of materials in the planned orders and although not all but few ones from the whole list were being impacted, even though the master data and steps were correct. 
The issue was resolved by applying the SAP note (2611243 - T-code MD01N doesn't consider BOM changes made with change numbers) and the results are as expected.
The reason for duplication was due to the enablement of ECM and to date of BOM were not being updated. By following the steps in the above note the issue is completely resolved.
