MRP issue on creating duplicate PR so the stock has increased.

Hi,

For example,On 26.02.19 MRP has Run.It has generated PR for 3 materials since we had stock of 8 materials and maximum stock that should be is 11(11-8).

On 27.02.19 MRP has run .it did not create PR because there in so shortage in Maximum stock quantity.

On 28.02.19 after MRP it has created the same 3 quantity of materials .why did the duplicity had happened?

Note :there is no open sales order also between those dates also.

we run MRP through batch.Planning mode is 1.

Please help me fix.

Hi Rubini

It is difficult to tell for sure the root cause of the issue after it already happened, but it seems to be a rescheduling issue here. The issue won't happen for all the materials, just for those with a replenishment element outside the rescheduling horizon. I strongly suggest you to to go through the mentioned WIKI, understand this setting and this scenario, and teach your users how to deal with this kind of exception message when it happens.
