mrp-availability check

Dear Gurus

If I maintain availability check for a material (01-daily requirements)in the Material Master, then how will the MRP run takes place,and when will it run (Specific Timings),and where i can see the results for that, and also what time interval will it run??

Tej,

01, is the availability checking group you are maintaining. It's nothing to do with the automatic MRP run.

You need to conduct the MRP run manually whenevr required.

Also you can have MRP run in the background too at the specific & fixed time in a day, preferably in the late night. It requires ceratin settings.

The checking group deals with the requirement generation & not with auto MRP run.

MRP run is done in MD02...

The time of MRP run is as per ur wish...

After the MRP run, you will get the MRP resullt... At the bottom of the screen of MRP result you will get the time specifications that the MRP has taken for planning..

YOu can see the results in MD04...

MD05 - static list

MD04 - Dynamic list (stock req. list)
