Hi

where can I set the purchase requisition document type for

MRP?

MRP generates purchase requisitions using document type NB instead of

a custom document type.

Hi,

Check OMDT t code MRP group and the different PR document type for MRP generated PR is possible only if you assign the document type to MRP group in the MRP configuration.

Maintain the custom doc type for the MRP group and ensure assigning the MRP group to your material in MRP1 view.

Transaction for maintaining MRP group parameters - OPPZ-->Scheduling /doc type.

In SAP, you can set the purchase requisition document type for MRP by following these steps:

1. Go to transaction code OM0E or navigate to SPRO > Material Requirements Planning > Planning > Define MRP Controllers.
2. Select the MRP controller for which you want to set the purchase requisition document type.
3. Click on the "Purchase requisitions" tab.
4. In the "Document type" field, enter the custom document type that you want to use for purchase requisitions.
5. Save your changes.

Once you have set the document type in the MRP controller, the system will generate purchase requisitions using the custom document type specified.

hi,

in Tranasction : OPPQ, you can assingn the user defined document type.

here standard is NB. There you can change the doucment type to ZNB like.

There is unfortunately no way of influencing the default PR Doc Type in OPPQ.
