movement type 311 ISSUE

Dear All,

When business user doing stock transfer between storage locations within the plant by using movement type 311 t code MB1B, system is not considering the confirmed sales order quantities or confirmed deliveries(before PGI) , because of this while creating deliveries or while doing PGI  it is effecting. Please let me how to include confirmed qualities while doing stock transfer with movement type 311.

For Example 123 is plant ABC and XYZ are the storage locations. Total stock 1000 for material 4568 in ABC location, out of which 500 got confirmed for one sales order and if user tries to do stock transfer between ABC to XYZ location for quantity 1000 system is allowing, which business is not accepting.

How to restrict the same

Hi Nagesh,

I think ,the stock transfer between one storage location to another storage location within plant 313 movement type is remove the stock from one storage location and another movement type is 315 is replace the stock into another storage location.

But already 500 stock is conformed .So you could not do it.Remain stock is possible.

For that you cant control in MB1B.  To block the sale order and delivery stocks, go to OVZ9, select the required combination and tick the fields "Include sales reqmts" and "Include deliveries".

Can you please let me know what exactly you were trying to do ?

In MB1B, you can transfer the stock from one place to another and here from which storage location, you were trying ?

It is more of training issue. The user who does the stock transfer must look into MMBE/MD04/CO09 transaction codes before doing the stock transfer. The user just can't move the stock with a number, within a plant without some analysis. If still this is not acceptable, then I recommend you to post in MM forum.

Hello,

I belive this will not be possible in SAP Standard, because Stock is confirmed / reserved at Plant level & not at storage location level. Thus system will allow movement of stock within Plant.

Try posting this queston in MM Forum & probably they can suggest you some User Exits / Enhancement to achieve your purpose.
