MOVEMENT TYPE 161 IS NOT ALLOWED

Dear All;

Am trying to make an return Delivery againest an intercompany PO.

I followed the following steps:

1. Opened the PO used to request for items from the vendor plant, and made a new line item with the quantity to be returned

the tick marked the return radio button and saved the order.

2. Run MIGO transaction with GOODS RECEIPT against PO, and movement type 161.

however i get a an Error message: MOVEMENT TYPE 161 IS NOT ALLOWED.

Went to the configuration screen with TCODE OMJJ and set the allowed movt type 161 with MIGO tcode,

however i still get the same message.

Am stuck, someone please help.

Hi,

In your scenario movement type 122 must be used and the order reason must be given.

161 movement type is automatically proposed when we do goods receipt for the items which are marked as returns in the PO.

It cannot be used manually.

FOLLOW STEPS-

1)SELECT-TCODE- OMJJ

1)SELECT- MOVEMENT TYPE-TICK

THEN SELECT FROM-MOV TYPE 161-GR RETURNS-

THEN GO TO NEXT SCREEN-AND SELECT ALLOW TRANSACTION AND NEW ENTRY-

THEN ENTER-NEW ENTRY
