Movement allowed check for Phantom item

Hello Experts,

We are creating a production order wherein we observed there is a check for 'Movement allowed' for phantom item in component details. That's why it is driving reservation as well. Can you please suggest what needs to be checked here.

Hello

Usually this kind of thing happens when a BOM cannot be exploded for the phantom item. If you are using S/4HANA, remember that you will also need a production version for phantom assemblies, so that the BOM can be exploded. If you are using ECC, check the BOM validity.

Thanks for the reply.

We are using ECC. BOM validity seems ok. I observed while prod order is CRTD, movement allowed is not checked.

When order is REL, then it checks the movement allowed indicator. Not sure on what parameters (for eg ind/coll indicator, phantom is header or BOM component etc) Can you please suggest? Thanks.
