More entries - in More Search Help dropdown list

Hi All,

In IW31, when we do F4 for Equipment field, we get lot of entries to chose from(viz.,Address Selection, Equiment by asset number, Equipment by cost center, equipment by short text, etc, say 15 such entries are visible in ECC).

Similarly, in Portal, of the standard Business package of Maintenance Technician - Maintenance Execution - Create Work Order iview, when i click on Equipment F4 help icon, i can see the list of few entries in drop-down.

My query is: the entries in Portal side are only 10(say), not all(15) the entries as I see in ECC.

Is it with some configuration that i can achieve this? or WDA coding?

Please help me with your inputs.

Sometiimes in portal dropdowns pages are maintained. See for any such arrow marks below the list to extend the search-option list. In my portal complete  list is visible.

As I said, you have more search helps at the bottom.

Also see by clearing the  'Restrict' checkbox  also.

Also, sometimes when you 'Cancel' this pop-up,  the full list appear as push-buttons.

Hello sir,

I tried unchecking the restrict value, it didnt work.

As I see from your portal screenshot, I dont see all the entries as in ECC.

I am trying to see, Equipment by Equipment list option to be selected for my search, which i am not able to see either in your screenshot nor in mine.

Please advise.

Have you tried to see any filters are there in 'personal value list settings' at the top.

Also see what the  'Hide filter criteria' at the top gives you.

Tried unchecking all the checkboxes in settings, Hide filter....still the list of entries is the same.

I dont see all entries as in ECC.

please advise any other inputs.

Do you see "Equipment by Equipment list" option in your portal search screen?

In fact I'd attached your screen-shot only, in my previous post, by adding red boxes.

My portal search help does not look like that.

My portal on F4 help cancellation gives this menu.

May be basic difference in versions.

If at all solution is there it is in screen you've attached only. Otherwise It has to be assumed that your portal configuration restricted few options, Usally this happens, like F1 help is disabled in protal etc.

I hope you've already tried by cancelling the F4 pop-up to get the above shown menu.

Now it seems the answer is with you, whether positive or negative.

One more possibility a missing scrollbar in the list you are seeing.

This is caused by  the screen resolution of your PC, or the font size of SAP GUI, often hides the scrollbar.

Reducing the GUI font size or increasing the PC resolution setting might restore this scroll bar.

Your screen looks more of GUI screen(integrated in portal as transaction iview).

My iview is an content from the Business Package for Maintenance Technician

With this BP, we get a role maintenance execution- Work Overview- Create Order

this launches a WDA appln iview, which is similar to the IW31 in backend.

May try by increasing the screen-resolution to get back missing scroll, if any.
