Modify individual capacity of a work center assigned with a reference capacity

Dear community,

Is there any way to make changes individually for work center capacities when you have assigned a reference capacity from CR11 to them?

In CR02, I want to modify capacity, but as it has attached a refrence capacity I am not able and I have to remove reference capacity.

I am not sure that I am following this issue entirely. You have created a capacity, and then you are trying to reference it in the work center. If that is the case you also have the option of copying the reference capacity and then modifying the same post you have assigned it to the work center

. I suppose that should solve the issue isnt it ? Is my understanding correct else could you please share your steps in the form of screen shots.

Hello Sasi,

After doing this try to go to CR02 and modify the capacity for a specific date, let's say, you want to remove capacity hours for a specific work center for tomorrow. SAP will not let you do that, instead you have to go back to CR12 and modify it, or you have to remove the reference capacity from CR02 which will erase all data.

Hello,

Yes, but problem is that this reference is assigned to multiple work centers, and changes will be only applied to one work center, so I have to make only changes ofr one work center. If I create new capacities I will end up with 1000 of different capacities.

In CR02 are you able to delete reference pool capacity?

What is the error if you try to delete it in CR02?

In that case, it removes the capacity from Work Center, so you have to redo manually (which I do not want) or assigned a new capacity reference (which will not allow me to modify manually afterwards).

As per standard SAP removes the capacity from Work Center is only the option here as I know.
