Modification to Objectives after Mid Year is complete...

Another requirement I have is to allow the employee the right to request to change his/her objectives at any time during the year. The hitch is that the manager must maintain control of whether the employee is allowed to modify them or not.

For Mid-Year and prior, I have created a push button that sends the control back to the manager (while In Review) and if the manager agrees, the template is set back to "In Planning" with a substatus of "Create Objectives".

After Mid Year is completed, the status goes to "In Process" for other control reasons. The problem I have is that I cannot go back to "In Planning" from "In Process". Has anyone run across this requirement before?

Unfortunately, the requirement is meant to allow objectives to be added/modified until the manager is given the template to complete. So the modification should also be available through the "In Process" status.

Hi Darcey,

We have created several sub-statuses in "In Review" status, so that the Appraisal Document remains in In Review for most part of the Year and it goes into "In Process" status only at the end of the year.

That way, we do not require to modify the Goals, when the appraisal had reached "In Process" status.

But if the manager still need to change the status to "In Planning" from "In Process", there is an ADMINISTRATOR function "HRHAP_DOC_ADMIN_STATUS_RESET" that can change the status from anywhere to anywhere.
