Hi

I have a few questions on how long will it take to deploy the Model Company for Enterprise Management Layer:

a) Deployment of MC on all instances DEV/QAS/PRD. How long will it take to deploy this for each instance by SAP?

b) Deployment of MC to SBX by SAP? How long will it take to deploy this for each instance by SAP?

c) Is VPN setup required to access MC SBX? Will this is hosted as part of the S/4HANA Cloud Extended Edition dedicated Customer Landscape

d) The MC FAQ mentions SAP to provide Scope Questionnaire XLS file that needs to be filled. Can you please share this link?

Many thanks

Hi Adil, thanks for your questions and happy to answer.

The provisioning of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud, extended edition with enterprise management layer included is following a streamlined process. There are a couple of boundary conditions that need to be in place, e.g. the contract need to be signed, which triggers subsequent activities. Within the sales process, a questionnaire has to be filled in to define the scope of what will be prepared. This questionnaire is available within the cycle before signature. We do not ship it outside of the sales cycle. However, main questions to be collected in this questionnaire are related to country scope, additional business process requirement, group currency and fiscal year variant of the customer. These settings will already be pre-configured in the enterprise management layer before the system is being handed over to the customer. Preparation time is just a couple of days - during sales process and after scoping, SAP provides a mutually agreed delivery date. At this point in time, enterprise management layer is setup according to the scope of the customer as described in the questionnaire.
Since the system landscape is technically hosted within SAP's HANA Enterprise Cloud, typically the landscape is included in the customer network.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
