ML currencies are not integrated in FI for valuation area m123. Message No. FML_CUST033

While creating material through mmo1 I faced an error texted

" Material Ledger must be set productive for valuation area m123"

to solve this error I follow tcodes OMX2, OMX3, OMX1 and CKMSTART to set the valuation area productive but at OMX3, this error occurred "ML currencies are not integrated in FI for valuation area m123. Message No. FML_CUST033" and the status indicator is red.

at every place in the system, I have set currency 10 only.

Hi Everyone

maintian controlling area

create controlling area and assign a controlling area to a company code in SAP: Path: SPRO > IMG > Controlling > General Controlling > Organization

Select New Entries or Copy CO Area Fill in the mandatory fields, including Controlling Area and CoCd>CO Area Choose from the following options for CoCd>CO Area: Controlling Area same as Company Code: Assigns only one company code to a controlling area

I have maintained currency type: 10 Assign company codes to the controlling area 

In material legder activation process

Goto T code: OMX2 and create new material legder type EX: V123 and assign the currencyvaluation type: 10 (Company code currency) and save

Goto Tcode: OMX3------Goto new entries My valuation area: VIYY, company code: VIYA, Material ldger type: 9000, now the status is in Green and ML currencies are allowed in FI and save now the issue is resolved.

we have to do T codes: OMX1 and CKMSTART for to activate material ledger as peoductive for the required valuation area

In my case issue is resolved, please ping back here if it helps to anyone to resolve the similar issue

Hello,

Please refer the process described in SAP note 2577551 - Material Ledger Production Setup in S4HANA (Green field approach) and SAP Note 2337383

After that if it does not work then you can raise a support ticket as the activation for Material Ledger.
