Missing handling unit (but the HU number shows up in the document flow)

Hi everyone, 

I'm having this strange situation where I cannot access HU information from either the delivery document or via HU03.

When I try to access via "Display document" button in the document flow, I get no response.

When I try to access the HU information via HU03, I get "Handling units could not be found. Check for typing errors " message.

The HU number does show up in the document flow of this delivery document and since we have a change history which suggests that we have once packed items in this delivery document, the HU did exist in the past.

I'd appreciate it if you could tell me why this is occurring?

I'd also appreciate it if you could tell me if it's possible to access deleted handling units via some tables/transaction codes. I could not find this handling units in VEKP/VEPO tables. So I'm assuming that the information was deleted from those tables.
