MIRO&FB01 reference warning

We need a new development in FB01 and in MIRO. In the "reference" field, would it be possible to add a warning, in case we want to book and invoice with a reference that has already been used ? This is something really important, in order to avoid duplicate booking. It should be only a warning, since for some cases, reference could be the same.

The below blog might be useful. In place of using FB01, i would suggest to look at Fb60.

Since you want a warning rather than error, you can set the message status as W instead of E as mentioned in the blog.
