Our question is whether the Migration Cockpit can be utilized to load new assets into the system, as opposed to its typical use case of migrating legacy assets from a previous system.

We would appreciate guidance on the following points:

1. Can the Migration Cockpit be configured or adapted for the purpose of uploading new assets directly?
2. Are there any specific templates, configurations, or prerequisites required for this use case?
3. If the Migration Cockpit is not intended for this scenario, could you recommend alternative tools or best practices within SAP for efficiently handling the mass upload of new assets?

Migration Cockpit is intended to upload legacy assets.

For mass upload of new assets, please consider using several BAPIs, like BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CREATE et al.
