Migration Cockpit: How to extract data from on-prem SAP system

We have to extract data from our SAP on-prem system so that it can be uploaded into our SAP S/4HANA Cloud system with the help of the Migration Cockpit. I can find a lot of online resources about using the migration cockpit but I cannot find any information on utilities or programs that reside in the source SAP system that can download the data in the desired format. As an example, migrating BP data.

Can anyone supply me with information, please.

If your source system is SAP ERP, and your target system is SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition, you can explore the Direct transfer approach provided by SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit. You can find more information here:Migrate Data Directly from SAP System

You can check wether you have the license for SAP Data Integrator. I know from my customers that it is part of the SAP S/4HANA license and also part of the RISE program.

SAP Data Services is an ETL Tool from where you can retrieve the information from ECC System and the transform it and load it into the XML files /Staging tables to be processed in the Migrate your data app.

Thank you very much for your answer. I forgot to mention that our SAP S/4HANA is hosted on the public cloud.

We have found that the Migration Cockpit with direct transfer is available for Public Cloud but at this stage, only throught eh Early Adopter Care program. Please see the following links:

We are considering registering for the program.

Does anyone know of utility program to download data should we not opt or qualify for the Early Adopter Care program?
