HI,
I have the following problem. For the definition of the production plan I using the MF50 transaction.
The finished product are all managed in fixed batch (FX). But when I insert a quantity to produce the system always generates a single planned order. It is possible to make a way that creates more orders in relation to the fixed lot? Example: Fixed Lot 100, if I enter 1000 I would like 10 planned orders of 100 quantity and not a single order of 1000.
Is this possible?
Thank you & best regards
Giuseppe

Can you try using Takt time?

Hello
When you create a planned order by entering a quantity in the planning table it's a manual creation, like transaction MD11.
The lot sizing procedure that you define in the material master is used during the planning run (MRP, transactions MD01, MD02, ...), when the system automatically creates planned orders.

HI Kumar,
thanks for the reply, but my problem is different. I know perfectly the fixed lot management.
What I would do is: Before I run the MRP would like to allocate in MF50 the production of finished products and only after that do the MRP run. I want to be able to define manually the production plan for finished products.
I would like that entering the quatity to be produced in a specific period the system propose n-planned order based on fixed lot and not a single planned order for the total quantity.
It is possible to do this?
Thanks & Regards
Giuseppe
Hi,
In REM normally after MRP you will get planned orders then we will assign ( or allocate ) the planned orders to production lines through MF50..I am not sure what you are going to allocate to what before MRP ????. still not clear from your question....
Now coming to planned order qty for specific period use periodic lot sizes like TB or MB or WB and check if FX is not suitable to you..also explore the option of using lot size FS..
Thanks
Kumar
