What method have SAP users found to manage a portfolio of suppliers for a certain category, and then to control a preference for those suppliers when conducting an RFQ ?
For instance. Say you have five suppliers who can supply widgets. One is preferred, two are for development. one still needs to be qualified, and one should not be sourced due to an issue with them.
I need visability of the five widget suppliers, and their status. All should get RFQ, but I should only source the preferred or development supplier. I wonder how other SAP users have approached this from a system standpoint.
Our implementation of SAP will be S/4HANA.
