Hi Experts,

An issue arises in the 'Enter Inspection Results from Warehouse' app in Public Cloud (BEST PRACTICE - BKP - Customer returns).

After processing a return delivery, I selected the 'replacement order' (free-of-charge delivery is created with reference to replacement order) option as a follow-up action. This triggers an automatic requirement for a free-of-charge delivery. However, when I proceed with production and attempt to do the final confirmation and receive the goods, the following error appears and prevents the goods receipt against the production order.

Diagnosis

You want to post a material document in which the special stock
indicator is different from the entries in the material master record.
This can lead to data inconsistencies, so the system does not permit
this posting.

Could you please provide a solution or guidance on how to resolve these issues? Thank you very much!

Hi Kaushika，

I am from S/4 HANA cloud sales content team and discussed your request with BKP's content owner. Above requirements you mentioned seems include process like MTO w Return+ QM (Inspection) -> FoC delivery with MTO replacement order. This is out of BKP's scope.

In 2502, we delivered new Scope item 7KW which include MTO w VC (Variant configuration) of return process. which only supports refund money with Credit memo, but Free of Charge delivery is not supportable.

So, I loop Return topic owner @Li Bin to this request to clarify and specify your process needs to see how to proceed.

Hi Cady,

As we are facing the same issue, I was wondering if there has been an Update regarding MTO for Free of Charge Deliveries? 
We too start with a replacement order, then go through production and during the GR Process the already stated error message arises. 

Has a solution been provided in either the BKP or the 7KW Scope? As we don't user Variant configuration, we would love to see an option within BKP.
