message no M7042. Batch does not exist?

Hello SAP - Friends,

I have an issue. I would like to close old inspection lots for incoming goods, but if I use transaction QA11 then message no. 7042 comes, that the batch does not exist ?
How can I close it? In the transaction MSC1N I cannot define batch too.
We are speaking about very old inspection lots.

Hello, Cancel the inspection lot within transaction QA02 should be solving your issue. Please also check to delete obsolete batch from inspection lot with QA02. Rgds Reinhard

Thank you for your answer.
Propably I didn't discribed issue enough.

I know that I can cancel an inspection lot, but the inspection lot is still visible in the transaction QA32 after canceling.
From the other side I cannot delete the batch for inspection lot in the transaction QA02 and I cannot set usage decision.

My goal is that the list in the transaction QA32 is clean.
