Message Dashboard App in 2002(2EJ)

Hello Experts,

I had setup a 2-tier scenario(Scope - 2EJ) few months back and now when I am logging in again I don't see the message dashboard app working anymore. I did some google and added some catalogs(SAP_CA_BC_COM_ERR_PC*) which were not there earlier. But I still don't see this app working. Am I missing something here.

P.S. - It was working till 1902 or so till I last tasted the flow and could see this Webdynpro based AIF app working to monitor. And now the same tile doesn't work.

Any quick help on this please?

For example, if you'd like to realize Scope Item 2EJ, the communication scenarios needed are here below:

- SAP_COM_0224

- SAP_COM_0508

Business Role:

- SAP_CORE_BC_COM

- SAP_BR_CONF_EXPERT_BUS_NET_INT

Then logon with your user, and go straight to Fiori App 'Assign Recipients to User'.

Add your user and assign the related recipients to your user with proper namespace.

1902 is a year back. .I am sure something might have changed in the interim. can you be more specific when you say the app is not working, do you mean the Message Dashboard app itself is not to be found, or you could get inside the app but no business processes are displayed?

I would suggest to add business catalog SAP_CA_BC_COM_CONF_PC as well to your user, which will give you access to "Assign Recipient to User" this way you can have the necessary business processes displayed in the message Dashboard. Please check the Message Monitoring and Error Handling to add the necessary details.

Hello Amith,

Thanks for the response. I had marked this tile(Message Dashboard) as a favorite in my Home Screen. And now the same tile says (Cannot Load The Tile!). One more thing, if you go to App finder and search for this app, you wont find it any of the business catalogs(including the one you mentioned). That clearly means the WDA App has been removed/deactivated and may be SAP is expecting some additional licenses for this app(not sure) which certainly needs to be part 2-Tier Scopes Scenarios for sure. And I am sure it was, that's why I could see it load and show me the /AIF dashboard.

Another observation, the Assign Recipients now does not have /MMEDI* and all other values in the drop down, rather some eDocument specific values.

What is this change from SAP, I am not sure. But there's no clarity on this. May be you can help, because I want see why my I/B IDocs have failed which were getting posted perfectly few months back.
