Hi *,

we want to use PCO15.0 to build up notification processes with our ERP-system. We created a OPC DA agent (based on Matrikon OPC Server) and a destination system to our SAP-ERP-System. We can start queries to get values from the OPC server successfully but we are having problems with the notification process. When we try to test a notification on the output tab of the notification we always get the error message mentioned above. The notification contains only one simple integer tag.

We don't know where to start searching for the underlying problem. Has anyone an idea or faced a similiar problem and found the solution?

Hi Günter,

On the Host tab of the Agent Instance you can define a Log Level severity. Could you switch it from Error to Verbose and replicate the error? Any additional information in the logs?

Could you change Windows Event Log?

Any errors on the destination side?

Hi Alex,

i don't know hat happened but notification process is now running. May be i had to stop all processes due to several changes and i didn't do that. After leaving office and coming back to office next day the system runs well.
