Memory Usage Statistics

Hi Experts,

I want to analyze the total memory one batch program is consuming. So i went to ST03-->select the day on which the program was running under the instance-->Memory Use statistics under the Analysis views.

I found the report and the corresponding batch job. However, there were columns like Average Total Memory Usage (KB), Avg usage of Extended Memory (KB), Maximum Usage of Extended Memory (KB), Average Private Memory Usage (KB) and Maximum Private Memory Usage (KB). Can anyone please explain what exactly these columns mean? and how can i find the exact memory consumed by this program?

You can find the exact definitions anywhere but more or less: extended memory is usually for big memory usage, private memory is used when there's too much memory needed and that blocks the work process for the program (so it's not very good for the load distribution).
