Hi,
We have created 6 measuring points for the measurement and readings entry for an equipment
we have created a entry list through IK31
when we post the readings of all these 6 measuring points through IK34 , system is posting one measuring document for one measuring point -reading
if this is standard behaviour of the system how can we make it post only one document for all the 6 readings i enter at the same time
issue is if for each measuring point -reading combination one document is posted means based on huge no.of readings and entries measuring documents number ranges are affected
cant we set the system such that for a set of measuring points and their readings entered at the same time , one document is only posted ?

Madhu,
Every reading for one measuring point would create a Measurement Document. IK31, IK34 to make the user to create a group to enter Measurement readings in a single screen...

Hi,
If i enter one reading for a measuring point wrongly , how to edit it ?
what is found is for a measuring point if i enter one reading , one measuring document is posted
suppose if the reading entered and saved by me is wrong and i want to edit how to do ?
if i go to IK12 and try to change the measuring document posted i could not edit
is there any way to edit the wrong readings entered for measuring points ?

Madhu,
No it is not possible. The transaction is basically a fast entry transaction for capturing measurement documents. However, why is the number ranges a concern? you should be able to Configure the number range as required.

Hi Madhukiran,
i belive that you are using Auto Measurement Document Transfer Functionlty.
So by removing this u can stop so.
