Measurement Points Assigned to Material Master

Hello,

I would like to ask if automatic creation of measurement points is possible for an equipment when a material is assigned.

That is, if it is possible to assign the measuring points to the material, and when creating this equipment with this material,measurement points are automatically created/transfered to it.

You can assign measurement points to Task List operations as PRTs - but only if you have activated Inspection Rounds via switch LOG_EAM_CI_4.

As far as I know, its not possible to assign measurement points directly to materials..

Perhaps by raising the problem you could give me some other alternative.

We have multiple equipments (all created with the same material), to be able to take measures in the work orders from the tasklist, characteristics are associated to the operations.

All the measurement points must have been previously created on the equipments. Given the large number of equipment and measurement points, this activity becomes very tedious.

Would there be any alternative to record the measurement documents on the equipment from the tasklist? As far as I know it´s not possible.

I was thinking on Master inspection characteristic, but I don´t know form QM Module.
