Meaning of of the option "zertifikat nicht fur anmeldung verwenden" in SM59 http (Type G) connection

I am working in an ABAP AS with SAP_BASIS version 756.

When I create an external HTTP connection with sm59, there is a new option in the following tab:

Logon and security Tab -> Security Options -> Status of Secure Protocol -> zertifikat nicht fur anmeldung verwenden

I have not found documentation on this option "zertifikat nicht fur anmeldung verwenden".

Would you know which functionality is provided by this option?

Is the option equivalent as the no-check-certificate for wget?

For non-German speakers, Google translate gives: "zertifikat nicht fur anmeldung verwenden" -> "Do not use certificate for registration".

Good Morning,

As nobody answered, I have opened a case to SAP.

This option has nothing to do with SSL server certificate checking.

This option turns down the possibility to perform TLS client certificate authentication.
