ME21N Document overview within the Selection variant

I create POs under ME21N and have created several variants and would like them to appear in the drop-down under the document overview when I click on the selection variant icon. How can I add to that drop-down list so that my variants appear? 

For more info.....I have built several variants that include pulling certain reqs that meet specfic criteria and then naming them, for example, one might be called  "capital reqs" variant and they all fall under one purchasing group. Then I want to save that variant to the drop-down within the document overview. That way every time I go into ME21N to create a PO I can leave open the document overview click on the "selection variant" icon choose the captial variant from the drop-down that I saved and pull only those reqs that I want to see. This was set up for me in the past so I have some currently in my drop-down, but do not know how to add more. The screenshot below are the ones that were added previously and no one seems to know how to add more.

Please provide more information. What for do you need those variants? What is not right with the system behaviour you observe right now?
