MD81 Process Steps - How to cosume stock

Hi Gurus,

We want to use CIR ( MD81 ) for our client. As you know CIR is an alternative for Sales Order.

But, what is the next step for CIR? For sales order we create Outbound delivery and PGI.

We are not able to do the same for CIR. We maintained copy control configuration for CIR. Even then VL01N gives error that Ship-To is required.

Is there any missing configuration? Please suggest.

          You can do production against CIR through CO08 then transfer stock from CIR to sales Order through Mov-413 E.

We do not want to consume stock against sales order.Once, production is completed against CIR , We want to create a delivery and ship out goods to customer

       Move 413E is not for consumption , It is just Transfer of stock from CIR to Sales Order.

As per my understanding we can not sale through CIR.

Now stock is available against sales order & you can sale  it through Sales Order.

Hi ,

If we have a sales order, We can transfer requirements directly without CIR. However, here we want to generate CIR through MD81 and then ship out goods to customer through a delivery. What is the primary use of CIR & How do we consume stock produced through CIR ? Please share your thoughts.
