I created a subcontract purchase order for an item that uses a component. Then I generated the outbound delivery to the subcontractor.
My question
For the component, in the MD04, I see 2 lines,
(1) The quantity 25000 for the outbound delivery and (2) the quantity 25000 for the requirement of the subcontractor.
This seems incorrect to me because the quantity of the request for the subcontractor is subtracted 2 times from the stock (From Delivery and from Sub Request) (123 000 - 25 000 - 25 000) = 73 000 is wrong. The stock must be 98 000
Is my MD04 reading correct or wrongly reading the results?
Is there a solution so that when the outgoing delivery is created the MRP element (SubReq) is not present or vice versa. ? This is to ensure that the displayed stock value is correct.
Thank you for your help always much appreciated

Hello Azouz
A delivery for a subcontracting requirement cannot be relevant to MRP.
Transaction MD04 (or MRP itself) won't support MRP relevant deliveries with reference to a subcontracting requirement or a stock transfer reservation.
The solution here is to make the delivery not relevant to MRP, by assigning a requirement type/class that is also not relevant to MRP.

Caetano
