Hi All,

In MD04 screen the Raw material Forecast did not get deleted automatically even after FG forecast being replaced by firmed order (Process Order).

It is an ind reqmt with requirement type as VSFB.

Kindly guide me in this regard.

Hi Santosh,

Do you Strategy Group 70?

If yes, Can you check if you have maintained the following settings -

• Strategy group 70 on the MRP screen.
• Set the indicator for assembly planning, the Mixed MRP indicator, to 1 on the MRP screen.
• Consumption parameters (Consumption mode, Bwd consumption, Fwd consumption on the MRP screen) to allow for consumption of planned independent requirements.
• If you are using this strategy in a make-to-stock environment, you also must set the Individual/coll. indicator to 2 on the MRP screen.

Hi Pratik/Senthil,

GI not happened with 261 movt type.

Bom is maintained correctly.

Strategy group is customized ie FG + Assembly Planning w/ Final Ass

But the thing is in MD04 ind reqmt should disappear (raw materials forecast)

Check points:

1) Please check if the BOM includes Raw material for the header material in CS03.

2) Check the Documented Goods Movement, whether the 261 movement (GI) happened for raw material or not.

Goto, COR3 ---> Lists ------> Documented goods movement

or mb51

3) If process order is created it does not mean your raw material should be issued. Your raw material stock will reduce if you have done auto GI (backflush indicator set in MRP 2 view).

4) If goods are not issued then do GI through MIGO using movement type 261, then your raw material stock will reduce, then do the confirmation through cork & then GR through MIGO.

5) Also Look for the control key in receipe which is assigned to the last operation, In standard SAP if PI03 is set GR will also happen automatically.

6) you can delete PIRs manually through transaction MD62.
