MD01N / MD01 Enhancement Query - Changing priority of Sales Orders picked for Planned Order creation

"As is" process: Planned Orders are created as per System set priorities using Sales Orders (A,B,C,D,E) in a particular order. For example:

1. Planned Order for A
2. Planned Order for B
3. Planned Order for D
4. Planned Order for E
5. Planned Order for C

"To be" process: Planned Orders are supposed to be created in an order defined by custom priorities. For example:

1. Planned Order for D
2. Planned Order for A
3. Planned Order for C
4. Planned Order for B
5. Planned Order for E

I have tried the following BADIs:

• MD_MRP_PARAMETERS
• MD_ADD_ELEMENTS
• MD_M61X_EXT_REQS_GET
• MD_MODIFY_SOURCE
• MD_MRP_LIST MD_PLDORD_CHANGE

and User Exits:

• M61X0001
• M61X0002
• MD070001

In the BADIs MD_M61X_EXT_REQS_GET and MD_ADD_ELEMENTS there exists a table during debug which consists of the Sales Orders listed according to their System Defined priorities(System created planned orders using these SOs). I tried deleting/rearranging the Sales orders there but it did not result in any change on the order in which the Planned Orders they got created on the output.

Can someone please help as to which Enhancement/BADI and internal/global table might be useful in achieving the above requirement?

What are business requirements that you are trying to cover here? Are you producing MTO or MTS?

The business requirement would be to prioritize certain Sales Orders for MRP creation before other orders.

BADI MD_ADD_ELEMENTS is letting me edit the priorities in a way using the CH_COPY_MDPSX-PLANR field but that results in an incorrect Sales Order display on the output screen.

Is there any other way to give some Sales Orders priority for Planned Order creation over others SOs in this BADI?
