Hello
colleagues from purchasing- and ordering-department want to display their purchase prices with four decimal places.
They don't want to use the SAP standard of scaling (price per 10 / 100 / 1000 / ... piece).
To display the four decimal places in the purchase price, the artificial currencies "CNY4", "HKD4", "USD4" and "PLN4" were created in the "TCURC" table in the SAP system.
In the "TCURX" table, the corresponding decimal places of the artificial currencies have been stored.
The conversion factors have been stored in the "TCURF" table. Also, for the exchange rate type "M", the "EURX" was maintained as a different exchange rate type.
The Bundesbank only provides the daily exchange rates for the original currencies.
Now my question:
- Do I need currency rates for the artificial currencies in the "TCURR" table?
or
- Is there – as with the different exchange rate type – the possibility of any chaining, so that, for example, the transaction "ME21N" pulls the currency rate of the corresponding original currency despite the artificial currency being recorded?
Thank you.
