Maximum length of serial numbers 18 digits instead of 30 digits

In the field list of the migration template of warehouse stock the length of serial numbers is limited to 30 digits.
During migration error for the length of serial numbers occur, even though the length for all line items was smaller then 30 digits. During inbound delivery in EWM the serial number is limited to 18 digits.

Problem is, that we have a lot of serial number controlled product that have serial numbers with more than 18 digits.
Therefore we need the limitation of 30 digits, like it is described in the migration template

In SAP standard system, the length of a serial number (GERNR) is 18. It is not possible to increase the serial number length field by standard configuration.

The field list length in a migration object is not the true field length . Please refer to the KBA 2563055 to explain

If you would like the field extend to 30 in S/4HANA CLoud , then follow the KBA 2963059 and submit a feature request
