Matrix consolidation in CDS View

Hi Everyone,

We are trying to bring profit center elimination hierarchy(Matrix Consolidation) in the AFO report using  custom CDS View. But we are getting below warning, when we try to select profit center hierarchy in query the variable is showing blank and no hierarchies are displayed. How can we resolve this?

Have you created a consolidation profit center hierarchy?

The default value for profit center hierarchy or segment hierarchy is $ which means matrix elimination is not activated. By specifying a real existing hierarchy,  the virtual elimination dimension as well as virtual common parent nodes tie to it will be generated on the fly. So basically, if you would like to bring virtual elimination dimension to the layout, you need to specify existing hiearchy.

To run matrix eliminations at the segment and profit center level, both Profit Center and Segment hierarchies are required.

Start by creating the Profit Center hierarchy and use it in the report selection inputs.
