Material Serial Number Error

Hi,

We want to trace all material activities with serial numbers. I created a new profile within OIS2. Then assigned a material to this profile. Under QA system i tried to create a new sales order. It has one item with 3 quantity but when i try to save the order, this error occurs.

No new serial numbers can be entered for material A12345 (3)

No new serial numbers can be entered for material A12345 (4)

No new serial numbers can be entered for material A12345 (5)

What is the problem? I only want assigning serial number for all finshed goods for material A12345.
