Material segmentation Default and invalid blank value

Dear SAP Experts,

I am working on a material segmentation setup in S4Hana. In TC: SGT_SETUP for 1 material and 1 segmentation strategy I need to set two different default logics for the SO field - Requirement segment.

I need the two different default logics since I aim to have different behaviors of the Requirement segment field in SO depending on my customers.

For 95% of my customers, I need to have a blank and valid requirement segment field in SO. This works and can be done. Based on this set up I can create a complete SO with a blank requirement segment. It seems the blank segment is automatically set to default, so in this scenario, blank is both the Default and Valid segment.

For 5% of my customers, I have to make sure the Requirement segment field in SO is incomplete i.e. the requirement segment shouldn't have a default, and the blank shouldn't be valid. This way for 5% of the customers It will not be possible a SO to be completed unless users enter a valid Requirement segment value.

So, to meet the requirements for 5% of the customer I need the option to set the requirement segment for those 5% - the blank segment should not be valid and I don't need to have a default. However, as already mentioned,  if there is a blank value it is always the default. 

Please advise if there is a way the described behavior to be done via default set up or in any other way.
