Material movement transaction

My Customer is raising this as a issue in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Solution

Cannot transfer the entire contents of a storage location in one transaction

I explained there are dependencies stock types and their implication and parameters that we should consider before doing this...

Is there a transaction for material movement between SLOCs other then Transfer posting

Hello Umesh,

Yes we should consider dependencies based on stock types before making any material movement, as this can lead to inconsistency.

Now as requested other than 'Transfer posting' which is app "Post Transfer Posting" you can refer to the below app for material movement between storage location;

Hi Umesh,

Your understanding is correct. In standard, material movement b/w storage locations is possible only via transfer postings.

Following are the relevant movement types for transfer between storage locations:

311 Transfer posting storage location to storage location in one step

313 Stock transfer storage location to storage location in two steps - removal from storage

315 Transfer posting storage location to storage location in two steps - placement in storage
