material migration project and cost estimate evalution (CK40N)

Hello,

 we shall  do a technical migration in the middle of 2024 from old sap version  to ECC 6.0.

I have some doubts about material evaluation in the new system after the migration.

Must we run the costing run (CK40N) for all the materials in ECC 6.0 ? What is the impact on the accounting document created ? 

I am warried because the material have already been  costed in the old sap system.
