Material master MM01: EspecifIC BKLAS to Especific MATKL

Hello experts: In the material master data in transaction MM01, how do you set a specific Valuation class (field BKLAS) for a specific material group (field MATKL)?

What settings do I need to make via customizing or SPRO transactions?

I haven't found any other guidance.

Hello @hermanngn 

As far as I know there is no link between MATKL and BKLAS in material master. If you need to validate BKLAS against MATKl, you'll have to implement it e.g. with EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 enhancement.

OMQW indeed links a material group to a valuation class. However it is not used in material master maintenance. OMQW settings are used in purchase orders without materials to automatically determine G/L account assignment.
