Material Master Description

Hi Experts,

My business requirement is to fetch material master descriptions, based on plant and material numbers. Since the material master's description is maintained in multiple languages in different countries, how can I fetch the material master description based on the country language..For example, if the plant is in Germany it should display ( description) in DE, Canada in EN, and Chain in Chinese.Can someone can help me, with how to fitch this query, please?

Language dependent descriptions are available in the MAKT table. Plant are defined in the T001W table. T001W-SPRAS is the plant's communication language. So you need to select a plant record from T001W, get its language from T001W-SPRAS and use it to read the corresponding record from MAKT.

Thanks, Dominik. I had the same thought, but my confusion is when you maintained language in material Master by going into additional data from MM02. Here you add language and material description. Has that entry played any role? Or from the above query it fetches the same data. Please explain this confusion that I have.
