Hi All,

Is it possible to have to documents with same material document number with two different movement types in tables MKPF, MSEG........

I hope these are the two main tables to check for..

Please explain me the scenario under what conditions this would be met.

Thanks,

Satya Priya

Hii,

601 is for (PGI) Post Goods Issue in Sales & Distribution

other (862) is the Movement type used in the controlling the Brazilian stock transfers.

I think you are working for Brazilian client.

Scenario:

Stock transfer with transfer order in Brasilian Company Code

In a company, goods movements do not only occur as goods issues and goods receipts. It may also be necessary to use internal stock transfer

from plant to plant. In order to be able to generate a stock transfer

using MRP, the goods issue is done by SD delivery and the goods receipt

by MM goods receipt functionality.

There is an issue like the wrong material doc is being picked.

The two movement types are : 'GI TF SD/MM' and 'GD goods issue:delvy'.

So there are two material documents with the same number with different movement types.

But in table MSEG, I could see only the movement type : 'GD goods issue:delvy'.

Please help me in understanding the scenario.

Hii,

Material Documents can consists of two Movement types i.e you can see the two movement types in MKPF & MSEG in the following scenarios:

1) In subcontracting Scenario, you can see the Mvt Typ: 101 & 543

2) In One Step Stock Transfer i.e 647 & 101 in same Material document & 645 & 101.

In which scenario you are getting the two movement types in a Material document?

Can you tell us the Mvt Types?
