Dear Sam,

If backflush and Auto GR is activated then the field AFRU-WABLNR gets populated

That means in confirmation itself Goods movement took place

Thanks Sundar and Madhu but guys looking at the production orders i see the orders that has backflush and final issue check box checked then the field AFRU- WABLNR does come as blank

If only final issue in the production order checked than AFRU- WABLNR gets populated with material doc number.

Can you guys confirm one more time for me please because what you said and what i am looking is exact opposite. Thanks much!!!

Dear Sam,

Check in COGI, if goods have been failed and stored and COGI

Process form COGI then check the result

Please check the Material document IN AUFM or in MSEG for the Production order It should be same as WABLNR.

For the Blank field IN AFRU-WABLNR, Check the Confirmation for the order, you can't find any good movement document for that operation confirmation , Material document only created If any material movement take place

Yes there are no enteries for material doc in AUFM. I wonder why when this material doc is in MSEG, why it is not in AFRU and AUFM

If the material movement is relevant to production order definetly Materaial document will update in AUFM.

Please check in MSEG, whetherthe material document is relevant to production order or not?

If any Document posted IN AUFM is related to prdn order

IN MSEG- YOU can find the AUFNR, IF the material document have AUFNR(order) tyhe document is related to prdn

For that confirmation, There is no goods movement thats why that field is blank

For ex consider i=operatiom 10, 20, 30, 40

Consider

In that 10 is linked withauto GI

andn for 40 is linked with auto GR

IF you confirming operation, 10, 20, 30, 40 in Cor6n or in Co11n

Then

For 10 and 40 only system create a Material document linked with confirmation

for opeartion 20, & 30, NO material is linked with operation, so the material doc field should be blank

Hope u are clear now

There is one more variation to this question, and although not the scenario described by the original post is worth considering.

In our implementation we perform confirmations using BAPI BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT to create the time ticket as well as perform the goods movement (which will create a material document) that will consume input materials (some batch managed).

Because of timing issues the BAPI aforementioned does not populate AFRU-WABLNR, even though a material document does get posted for the issue/consumption.  The immediate reason is again, due to timing issues, the input material did not have enough available quantity, the BAPI creates a fake COGI (faulty movement) but the consumption takes place and the material document is posted.

Our solution has been to first check AFRU-WABLNR, and if not present check AFWI for records matching the confirmation document no. (RUECK).  In 99% of the time we get the answer.  For the remaining 1% it means a COGI was created.

Hope this helps folks in a similar situation.

HI Peter,

thanks for your inspiration, I tried to find the new MBLNR after confirmation.

I just searched in AFWI with RUECK and RMZHL from timeticket and also MJAHR is not initial, then I got what I want.

AFRU table is for order confirmation

Material document will create if the material is subjected to goods movement

In case if you use auto GI and GR, then at the time of confirmation, system will post the goods movement

at the time of operation confirmation, if the operation is linked to goods movement( if raw material is assigned to operation or final operation related to GR, that means auto GI or GR, then along with confirmation, material document will create.

In case for particular operation , consider you have n't assign any raw material for the operation , at that time, for that confirmation, No material document is posted, for that confirmation, material document field in AFRU, will be blank

dear friend

if AFRU-WABLNR is blank that means ZERO delivered in Prod.order. No goods movements (nothing was posted).

No material documents. No confirmations.

if AFRU-WABLNR is not blank that means Goods movement were posted . The delivered quantity in not zero.

There are mat. documents. There is/are prod. order confimation.

Such prod. order also has a system status GMPS (Goods movement posted).

good luck.
