Problem with converting hours to minutes during material cost estimation in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (App: Create Material Cost Estimate)
We have the following data to produce the final product:
Explanation to the table: Column 1 is for the required components per hour to produce the final product. Column 2 is for the required components per minute to produce the final product and Column 1 is divided by 60. Column 3 is for the required minutes to produce the final product. Column 4 is the multiplication of Column 2 and Column 3. Column 5 is for the SAP S/4HANA calculation. Column 6 is the difference between Column 5 and Column 4. Difference for Personal is 0,00 because the required time is 3 minutes which are dividable to 60 and the result is not periodic numbers.
When we use the required minutes which are divided 60 and the result is not periodic number such as 0.10, 0.20 etc, then SAP calculates material cost estimate correctly.
Is anybody familiar with this topic and could explain the differences and/or how to solve this?
Thanks in advance for any hint.
Best regards
Rado
