Hello PP/SD/MTO experts,

Industry: Food Processing. (MTO Sales order will create Process Orders.)

Issue: Schedule in the Process Order is aligned to Delivery date in SO Schedule lines, Expectation is it should be aligned to Material Availability Date. Please let us know how to enable this (Proc Ord Schedue should be aligned to Material Availability Date in Sales order)

Issue in Detail

Dates in Sales order--> Schedule Lines (before change)

  • Delivery date D 30.09.2021
  • Goods issue date 30.09.2021
  • Loading date 30.09.2021
  • Material avail.date 30.09.2021
  • Transportation Plan. Date 30.09.2021

Dates in Corresponding Process order

  • Basic End Date = 30.09.2021 24:00:00
  • Basic Start = 30.09.2021 00:00:00
  • Scheduled End Date = 30.09.2021 24:00:00
  • Scheduled Start Date = 30.09.2021 23:48:00

Now User is changing the dates as schedule is changed. Below are the new dates

  • Delivery date D 25.09.2021
  • Goods issue date 20.09.2021
  • Loading date 20.09.2021
  • Material avail.date 20.09.2021
  • Transportation Plan. Date 20.09.2021

On clicking enter, ATP is triggered and system is proposing all dates as 25.09.2021.

Process order Schedule is aligned to Delivery Date 25.09.2021, not the material Availability Date (20.09.2021)

Help me in understanding how proc order schedule is aligned to Delivery date and not Material Availability and what config change will make process order gets aligned to Material Availability date.

Hello,

Could you please share the screen shots of MD04, CO09 and ATP check results from VA02?

Are you sure that sales order is confirmed against this process order?

Are you using any replenishment lead time check for your scope of check in OVZ9?

Best Regards,

R.Brahmankar
