Material availability check in process order

Hi All,

My Scenario: I have created a raw material(Methanol) with availability check "02" in material master(MM02).And i have assigned that raw material in BOM . I have not maintained stock for raw material.

Now When i'm creating a process order it should not allow to create because my raw material is having no stock.

What are the configuration steps needed to active the availability check ?

Hi,

Kindly check your order control configuration (OPJK) where you can restrict if there is any material shortfall, system will not allow to release the process order.capture.png

This is standard behavior that system will allow you to create the process order if there any material shortage and keep that much stock reserved.
