Hi All ,
As per business requirement , I have added new custom Attribute 'Shipping city' to master data type 'Customer'.
When I open the master data workbook to enter values in the new attribute, I want to see it's description at the header instead of ID. Example, I want to see 'Shipping city' as header and not 'ZSHIPCITY'.
Can anyone help me with the navigation of where to make the changes in order to achieve the above.
#SAP IBP #Master data #Attributes
Thanks.

Hi Sumaghosh,
I can think of only 3 reasons why MD workbook content will have a technical name as Header.
1) You are opening the MD workbook in the 'Edit' mode which makes the first row technical and the descriptions will be available in the second row. Open in display mode and check..
2) You have given the description of the attribute as the technical name only.. check attribute info in 'Manage Attribute' app
3) You have maintained the planning area specific description with the technical name for the attribute. In this case, Attribute name mentioned in the Planning Area - Attribute tab, will override the actual descriptions of the attribute.
Let me know if you find the root cause in the other way..
Best Regards,
'Riyaz'
