Hi experts,
We have various shops in an automotive component manufacturing. Example - molding, paint, assembly etc. Here demand comes from assembly and goes to molding shop.
How can we map same in ePPDS if a component moves from molding to paint to assembly? Do we need to create separate plant for these shops or these shops should be part of one plant? If we create these shops as plants then we will need to create transportation lanes between them.
Or we can map these shops as work centre ( resources ) in PPDS and assigned operations in it.
what is the usual practice in such scenarios? Please let me know.
