Mass upload in the customer master data.

Hi all,

I would like to know if there is any procedure to extend multiple customer master to many sales areas at a time. A Mass upload of customers.

Hi Manu,

Suggest you should create a LSMW for the same or you can use the standard one

Mass transaction is to update the signle values for multiple customer .So that transaction will be not be of use for u in this case.

Change Customer Master (VD02, XD02, FD02) These are the transactions to change or update

customer master screens. Each of these codes controls access to some or all of the data tabs.

Try Tcode: MASS Mass maintenance for Object Table & Variant Name

Their you can choose Object Type: KNA1for customer master data.

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried using this transaction. In this case for a mutiple custmers you can change a to only a single value.

This issue i face is to extend few customers to many sales areas. That was not possible for me.

Please advice.

If you are using this tool for the first time, i would not suggest directly using it on Production.

Use it few times on Test client for making yourself familiar with this tool.

It is a very powerful tool and changes made from this cannot be undone

Hi Manu

as Krishna mentionned if you want to extend the customer to sales areas, you should use LSMW with Standard object 0050, and Program RFBIDE00.

Create your text file with the data you might want to upload and proceed.
