Mass SPRO Special Procurement Key config options

Hi Experts,

I have a business requirement to change the Long text for all languages (Goto -> Translation) for Special Procurement Key (Plant & SPK combination).

However the combination records are 6800. Hence manual maintenance is more time consuming. I tried LSMW but it didn't work due to SPRO navigation and scroll.

Tried to debug T460T table and maintain, but the problem is when copied 6800 from excel and pass in table, it shows 13000 records. Means, if an SPK is used by another plant, it will obviously pull that as well. Which we don't want to change.

Hence is there any other option in STD or way to do this change in Mass.

I guess nobody can understand what you mean here: "Tried to debug T460T ... shows 13000 records". Changes in translatable texts are usually not controlled and correspond to the direct update of one text table, so just make sure by doing an SQL trace (ST05), and then you can be sure that you can do a direct update.

Hi Sandra,

Further to my brief, i meant to say that with Abaper help we executed T460T in editable mode in SE16N and then tried to update LONG TEXT in this Table, however this again turned out to be much manual effort as we have to do in all 3 system Dev, QA and PROD separately.

Hence, my Client want to move this only via TR to ensure same changes are moved across landscapes. Currently am trying with "Script Recording and Playback" option to achieve this.

However, i would really appreciate, if i could get any other alternate means to achieve this Client request.

You may transport the changed contents of any table by entering manually R3TR TABU entries and the keys of the lines to transport. If the line keys don't correspond to existing lines, they will correspond to deletions.

Hi Jeff008, 

my recommendation is to open SE16N in editable mode. Filter result for specific key for table T460T. Update data (best way is to export to Excel file, update there and copy paste to se16n). Next add this table to transport order to pass data to other environments.
