mass create search string for EBS

Hi Experts,

The original descriptions from electronic bank statements are not good for our financial account management purpose. We would like to make them more readable and clear in our FI posting. So we want to mass create search strings to replace original bank statement description. Anyone knows how to do it? If we write a customized program to directly update

T028P, TPAMA and TPAMAT tables, are there any side effect?

Hi

as per my experience, there should not be any side effects. you can upload or update data to SAp standard tables using customized program.
